General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has fans as confused as Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) are bound to end up.
Sitting at the Metro Court with Ava, he was cold and seemingly calculated when he told her he wasn’t taking her as his plus-one to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding.
Acting as though he couldn’t have cared less if Ava went back to the penthouse and started packin
g her things, he struck up a conversation with Natalia and spent his afternoon charming her into being his plus-one instead — not a heavy lift.
Returning home to find Ava still at his place, he wasn’t warm and fuzzy toward her, but he made it clear he liked having her around and didn’t necessarily want her to move out. Which way is this guy really leaning — or does he just want to have his cake and eat it too?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Doesn’t Have His Best Interests at Heart
Sonny has a history of trusting the wrong women, despite how sharp he thinks his instincts are on reading people. He’s been duped his fair share of times, and to add insult to injury — he’s been duped by Ava before. But being improperly medicated, it’s unlikely that Sonny’s instincts are firing off in any manner that he can really trust them.
We know Ava doesn’t really have the best of intentions. Is Sonny picking up on that at all? Is there a nagging feeling in his gut that something isn’t right here?

Natalia is new to the scene and new to Sonny, but that’s not a bad thing in his book. Sonny has never shied away from the new girl in town. In fact, he loves to scoop them up as fast as he can.
Will Natalia end up feeling indebted to him? The fans say it’s unlikely because Natalia seems every bit as disingenuous as Ava is. Using Sonny to weasel her way into a Quartermaine wedding will end up being the tip of the iceberg.
After the way we’ve seen her treat her own daughter, we won’t blink when she uses and abuses her relationship with Sonny, too.

With a rather unclear mind, Sonny may not know what he’s looking for right now. But one thing is for certain — he has always hated being alone.
Honestly, it’s surprising that he hasn’t pounced on Ava already, because he normally jumps into bed with someone else as quickly as possible when any of his relationships fall apart.
But Sonny has remained single and not so ready to mingle since Nina Reeves Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) departure from his life. He echoed this sentiment when he told Ava he likes having people around.
It wasn’t specific to her, but rather, he didn’t want to be fumbling around by himself in that big penthouse apartment. If Ava is just bridging a gap right now and keeping him company, is Natalia the one he’s truly attracted to on another level? If so, what was with that kiss he planted on Ava?
