General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Spencer’s Return – Explains Sam & Dante’s Rushed Love Story Before Coma Awakening?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) return could explain Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) rushed love story. Is GH speeding things up before Lulu’s coma awakening?

Dante and Sam were previously moving at a snail’s pace, especially after Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came back in the picture.

Even while Sam and Dante were off on their mission together, Drew was at the center of their storyline.

The show just hasn’t invested much time and energy into Dante and Sam’s romance. Many fans still aren’t feeling the chemistry, so that doesn’t help matters.

Now that Sam and Dante are supposed to be in love, it seems like it came out of nowhere.

Between the lack of onscreen sizzle and the lack of proper buildup, the whole pairing just feels forced and falls flat.

Dante and Sam didn’t act madly in love before Dante’s recent hospitalization.

They want us to believe the thought of losing Dante helped Sam see what she was already feeling, but we’re just not buying it.

That’s particularly true since Sam dumped Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) over his dangerous lifestyle.

Dante isn’t involved in mob drama, but Sam still has to wonder if he’s going to come home alive at the end of the day.

That’s still the sort of thing that affects Sam and her kids.

GH is telling us that Sam and Dante are in love now, but it’s not enough to say the words. When did they even fall in love?

It just doesn’t seem like that truly happened – at least not in actual scenes that went deep enough to make it believable.

Sam is shutting Drew out and focusing on Dante as her future. Why isn’t the show playing up the Dante, Sam and Drew love triangle?

Perhaps it’s because they want to do a different triangle instead – and they need Dante and Sam to go all in for it to work!

If Lulu’s coma awakening is brewing, that would explain a lot. In that case, the show needs to get the ball rolling on “Sante” ASAP.

We may see Dante and Sam rush toward an engagement and even a wedding – that way it can rock Dante’s world and pull him back in Lulu’s direction at the worst possible time.

SOD released a blind item not too long ago about a major character being recast on one of the soaps.

It’s possible that’ll be Lulu Spencer if Emme Rylan doesn’t reprise the role.

Regardless, Sam and Dante’s turning point feels like a big push toward something – and that something may be wake-up call involving Lulu’s comeback!

General Hospital spoilers say Lulu will hopefully return at some point in the coming months and fight for Dante’s heart.
