Actor John J. York, who plays the legendary Mac Scorpio, hasn’t been seen on GH since October 30, 2023. This is because he’s been battling a blood and bone marrow illness in real-life, but fans were given some incredible news recently, as the actor is back on set and filming scenes.
The daytime drama posted the news on their X and Instagram social media accounts noting that York has officially recovered from his medical issues and is back with the show.
Photos were posted with John, donning a “Mac Is Back” shirt in front of the GH studios, along with Kristina Wagner (Felicia Jones) and Josh Kelly (Cody Bell). As the soap films several weeks ahead of broadcast, fans should expect to see Mac Scorpio back in the land of Port Charles sometime this summer.
GH Spoilers: The Cerullo Family Is Growing
GH spoilers for the week of May 13-17 indicate that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding will take place, which means out-of-town family will arrive in PC for the big event. Actor Giovanni Mazza has been cast in a new role, playing BLQ’s cousin, Giovanni Cerullo.
Fans can also expect to see Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) parents arrive on scene as George Russo steps into the role of her dad, Carmine Cerullo, and Ellen Travolta reprises the Gloria Cerullo character, as her mom. The Cerullo clan will be making their way to PC starting the week of May 13-17.

GH spoilers hint that Danny Morgan will have scenes on Tuesday, May 14, as Asher Antonyzyn will reprise this character. Danny is set to have some interactions with his dad, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
