General Hospital Spoilers: This (SPOILER) Is Who Really Tried To Kill Jason At The Warehouse
General Hospital (GH) reveals that the Friday, May 31, 2024 cliffhanger let loose with a huge whodunit. As in, who is behind the attempt on Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) life at the coffee warehouse?
As usual there is more than one suspect and here are the top three candidates!
General Hospital spoilers: Jason Almost Died at the Warehouse
Curiously enough, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) showed up at the warehouse right before Jason was shot at. Which makes Sonny a likely suspect, although maybe too convenient.
Soaps love to throw red herrings into the mix, and having Jason shot immediately after being confronted by Sonny would be an easy plot distraction.
Still, Sonny was not cordial and left after threatening Jason. Sonny wanted to buy Jason out of the coffee warehouse partnership and Stone Cold refused.
He actually told his former BFF that he is staying around in order to protect him which frosted Sonny’s shorts even more. Sonny clearly has motive and means to off Jason, but would he really order a hit on the man who was like a brother to him?
General Hospital spoilers: The Warehouse Shooter
After Sonny left, Jason got a feeling, and we all know that Jason is never wrong. Sure enough, shots rang out and Jason returned fire.
The shooting happened after Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) told Sonny that John Cates (Adam Harrington) was sniffing around hospitalized Pikeman operative Brennan (Charles Mesure).
John has every reason to want Jason gone, it would simplify his life and perhaps put an end to a storyline that GH fans have grown tired of.
GH spoilers: Is Valentin a Suspect?
Then again, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and/or Brennan may be behind Jason’s shooting. They are the heads of Pikeman and definitely don’t want Jason figuring out all the pieces and blowing up their illicit operation.
If one or both men tried to eliminate Jason, it makes sense that they would try to pin it on Sonny, which takes us right back to Sonny being the obvious, but incorrect, suspect.

Valentin has already targeted Sonny to take a fall by tampering with his psychotropic medication. And, Brennan stabbed himself for a reason, one of which may have been to get out of prison so he could order the hit on Jason. Tell us GH fans, who do you think wants Jason gone, and why?
