General Hospital Spoilers: Is Ava Getting a Whodunit Story – Suspect List Grows for Vengeful Mystery?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is being painted into a dangerous corner right now. Ava is making enemies right and left, so we have to consider whether a whodunit story might be brewing for her.
We should mention that there have been some rumblings about cast cuts behind the scenes – including the departure of a popular actress.
Maura West is a beloved powerhouse at GH, but her character is basically making nonstop bad decisions lately.
Based on the writing that Ava’s been getting, no one would be surprised if the show was building to her exit.
It’s easy to imagine a scenario where someone fires at Ava and leaves a wounded body behind, but fans are left in suspense on who’s responsible.
There’d be a long list of suspects if a vengeful mystery played out with Ava at the center of it.
Ava is covering up what she’s discovered about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) altered medication, which has drawn some negative attention from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Pikeman could go after Ava depending on where the story goes from here – or maybe Sonny himself could seek revenge on Ava down the road.
Even someone like Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) might be pushed to her breaking point and pull the trigger.
However, Ava has also turned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) from a friend to a foe – and now Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has vowed to make Ava regret turning her in for perjury.
There’ll be even more characters who turn against Ava in the coming weeks, so could a whodunit story be in the works?
Ava might be a goner if the writers ultimately decide this is the end of the line for her.
Of course, Ava has managed to survive other storylines where she became public enemy number one in Port Charles, so there’s a chance she could do it again. A whodunit doesn’t guarantee a grim fate.
GH fans will recall that Ava became a victim during “The Hook” story, which initially left viewers in the dark on who attacked her and other PC residents.
Ava could survive another close call and still wind up with a mystery centered around who took matters into their own hands to make her pay.
